Unit B Activity 3 - Organize the computer desktop - Exemplar 1

Before I changed the desktop, it was full of small icons. The background was yellow tiles. The fonts were small. (Please see attachment-screen a) I took a photo with the digital camera.

Then I changed the desktop. The icons not used by the students were hidden. I changed fonts to be large. The background colour was changed to black. Also I put Matthew's and Harold's file icons on the desktop, so that they can find them easier. (Please see attachment-screen b)Please note that I still used the digital camera photo for record.

At last, I found out that I can cut and paste the screens onto the Word document.I changed the colour of background to blue. ( Please see attachment-changing 3rd time)

Finally, I deleted some more icons. Have the icon of the easiest program-Switch On Travel in the middle, so everyone can find it. Adults' icons were put on the left hand side, and children's were on the right hand side.(Please see attachment-final version)
