Exemplar activities
The exemplars below were used to provide some guidance to trainees as to how the training activities should be completed.
We received many hundreds of activity write-ups and those listed were chosen to demonstrate the breadth of teaching styles, situations and approaches we came across.
Broadly speaking, activity write-ups were expected to illustrate the following:
- context - why the trainee chose to do this, setting etc.
- method - a description of what the trainee did;
- results - any learning that took place, the trainee's and/or the pupils';
- reflections - what was good about it, or otherwise, and how it may affect future practice.
