Sue Atkinson

Communication Tutor, ACE (Aiding Communication in Education) Centre Advisory Trust, Oxford

Sue spent five years as Communication Tutor at Portland Further Education College in Nottinghamshire working with students using Voice Output Communication Aids.

After completing a Masters degree in the area of Special Education she worked in Hong Kong for two years teaching pre-school children with developmental delays. After a year of relaxation and recreation in various parts of the world she became the most recent addition to the Oxford ACE Centre crew!

Sue is part of a multidisciplinary team assessing children with complex physical needs who require alternative access to communication and education. She is also part of the training team.
